Last week, the CFL has released its 2015 season. The BC Lions will be entering their 58th CFL season and after an up & down 2014 season its hoped this year sees an improvement. Even though the Leos have reached the playoffs for the last 18 seasons, the semi-final loss to Montreal, was a disappointment, especially as the Grey Cup hosts. Let’s hope the team, lead by new head coach Jeff Tedford, can book a trip to Winnipeg for the 103rd Grey Cup in November.
This season kicks off with training camp in Kamloops starting on May 27th and the season getting underway with a trip to Ottawa Redblacks on July 4th. The season home opener is on Friday, July 10, 2015 at BC Place versus Saskatchewan Roughriders and wraps Saturday November 7th hosting Calgary Stampeders.
