Last night, the American Music Awards were presented at the Nokia Theatre in downtown Los Angeles.
Hosted by Pitbull, the light and entertaining show moved along well keeping the music performances at the forefront. The AMAs have always highlighted popular culture and provided a showcase for buzz-worthy artists and new music. Performances included; Taylor Swift, 5 Seconds of Summer, Iggy Azalea, Charli XCX, Imagine Dragons, Lorde, Sam Smith, One Direction, Garth Brooks, Jennifer Lopez and many more.
It wasn’t all performances, some awards were handed out as well, the main trophies went to:
