Barney Bentall & The Cariboo Express are hitting the road for another year of great shows!
The name has changed but the legacy of the last 9 years of Barney Bentall & The Grand Cariboo Opry shows lives on. As the word and reputation of the past shows grew, it gained notice of the Grand Ole Opry, which led to the name change.
Over the last 9 years the roadshow has raised over $500,000 to support local charities. Keeping with the annual tradition of support and celebrating great music, the 2015 tour will culminate with a 10th Anniversary Show on November 28th at the Vogue Theatre in Vancouver. With a line-up including the regular cast of Barney Bentall, Ridley Bent, Dustin Bentall, Wendy Bird, Matt Masters, and the Gold Rush Allstars, plus yet to be announced special guests, the show is sure to be a great evening in support of the local Potluck Cafe Society.
The Barney Bentall & The Cariboo Express roadshow starts this weekend in Calgary and works its way across the West, supporting local charities and featuring local musician along the route.
