The 30th Annual BC Book Prizes recently announced their shortlists in each of the seven book categories. Established in 1985, the BC Book Prizes celebrate the achievements of British Columbia’s writers and publishers. Selected by the non-profit Book Prize society the finalists along with the recipient of the Lieutenant Governor’s Award for Literary Excellence are presented with their awards at the BC Book Prizes Soiree and Lieutenant Governor’s BC Book Prizes Gala in spring.
