Sunday night, Canada’s country music industry wrapped up a week of celebrating their own with the 2014 Canadian Country Music Awards. Hosted by Jann Arden and Rick Mercer, the award show opened with a onstage collaboration with The Road Hammers, Paul Brandt, George Canyon and Tom Cochrane. Other performancers during the show included host Jann Arden with Autumn Hill, Jess Moskaluke, Tim Hicks, Dallas Smith, Kira Isabella, Gord Bamford, Terri Clark, Paul Brandt with MacKenzie Porter and Lindsay Ell, Dean Brody and Brett Kissel as well as Dierks Bentley and Little Big Town.
Gord Bamford took home two awards on the night; for Male Artists and Single of the Year while Johnny Reid took home his fifth Fans Choice Award.

Songwriter(s) of the Year: “Mine Would Be You” writers; Jessi Alexander, Connie Harrington, Deric Ruttan
Top Selling Album of the Year: “Here’s To The Good Times” by Florida Georgia Line
Top Selling Canadian Album of the Year: “A Christmas Gift To You” by Johnny Reid
Interactive Artist of the Year: Brett Kissel
