Friday night, Pacific Baroque Orchestra presented Early Music Vancouver’s (EMV) first live concert of the year, Women of Note. Hopefully you were able to attend the spectacular concert in person, as it filled Christ Church Cathedral with the music of five gifted women composers of the late eighteenth century. If not, or you’d wish to enjoy it again, Early Music Vancouver recorded the concert to show March 23rd, with its other upcoming Digital Concert Hall events throughout the month of March.
Honouring Women’s History Month, EMV’s The City of Ladies Digital Festival brings a month’s worth of online content acknowledging the contributions of early women composers, musicians and performers.
