CBC Musical Nooners 2017 start today!

Returning for their 8th year, the CBC Musical Nooners are a great way to spend a summer lunch hour. The outdoor plaza at CBC studios at 700 Hamilton Street comes to life with music acts performing live, each weekday from noon – 1pm starting today July 7th, running until August 25th.

For opening day, today, a special extra long nooner kicks off the season with electronic art-pop act Fake Shark onstage from 12pm until 12:30pm, then Juno Award winners Said The Whale take over from 12:45pm until 1:45pm.

The CBC Musical Nooners cover all genres of music from Blues, Pop, Jazz, Reggae, Folk and more.  A special CBC Kids Day on August 2nd is a special two hour nooner with CBC Kids performer Will Stroet and plenty of kid-friendly activities to keep your little ones entertained.
