Dress as your favourite Rebel or Empire character and visit distant worlds beyond your imagination on the Zoom Livestream. Participate in Star Wars themed talks, “Searching for Earth in a Galaxy Far Far Away” with Astronomer Marley Leacock
Have you ever wondered how worlds in the Star Wars Universe are similar to Earth? Like a desert world of Tatooine, the lush swamps of Dagobah, or the forested Moon of Endor? Are these the types of worlds we might expect to find out there in our galaxy?
The Space Centre’s Michael and Astronomer Marley will be joined by two special guests from Industrial Light and Magic. Production Engineer Nicole Galaz, and Creature Technical Director Tanner Scott will be sharing their experiences working on films from the famous franchise.
Virtual Family Night also includes a fun craft activity for kids, of all ages, to join in on. Download the instructions ahead of time to make your own May the 4th character headband from the comfort of your own home.
