Nine chefs, 2700 dumplings and one trophy are up for grabs at the Chinatown Night Market’s Dumpling Cook-Off, presented by Bao Bei Chinese Brasserie on Friday August 16th. Come and eat as 9 restaurants compete for the Dumpling Champion trophy!

The competing dumplings will be judged by local Dumpling Guru – Helen Li, Bao Bei’s Joel Watanabe and Scout Magazine’s Andrew Morrison.
However, the public isn’t left out, tasting passports for $12 allow people to try all 9 dumplings for themselves. Also 5 men and 5 women will compete in the Dumpling Derby, each person will stuff themselves with dumplings for 2 minutes to see who is the ultimate dumpling diner!
The fun and tastes take place between 7pm and 9pm at the Chinatown Night Market (in the parking lot next to The Keefer Bar).
