Almost everyone has a food lover on their shopping list, Vancouver’s renowned food scene offers so many gift options it’s hard to choose.

On January 12th get the New Year off to the right bite with NoodleMania, a travelling food tour all across Vancouver in search of all types of noodles: ramen, pasta, udon, mein and more. Every culture has its own form of noodle so take a tour around the world while touring the city.

 

Also in January is Tourism Vancouver’s Dine Out Vancouver Festival  from January 17 – February 2, 2014 restaurants all around Vancouver take part in Canada’s largest restaurant festival with many, many unique food events included during the fortnight.  VanFoodster and Dine Out have combined for a few of them; West End Brunch Crawl on January 19 and then a week later, East Side Brunch Crawl – January 26. Each Brunch Crawl is an eight restaurant food crawl through the hot brunch spots in their respective neighbourhoods.  Then follow it all up, February 1st with Palate Promenades – Granville Island Discoveries, a visit to 10+ of the Island’s merchants including restaurants, breweries, Canada’s only Sake distillery, butchers, bakers and much more.
