Come say Gung Hei Fat Choi at FlyOver Canada. Starting today, celebrate Chinese New Year of the Horse with a limited engagement double feature running from January 17 to March 2 at FlyOVer Canada at Canada Place. Making its the North American debut, the exciting Chinese ride film ‘Flight of the Dragon’ will be featured back-to-back with the popular FlyOver Canada experience.
‘Flight of the Dragon’ was produced by award-winning Los Angeles-based studio Super78 Productions for a theme park located in Shanghai. This is the first time the film has been taken outside of China and allows a unique opportunity to see some of China’s most spectacular sights. The experience at FlyOver Canada is enhanced by Chinese New Year themed decorations, special pre-boarding welcome and other Chinese New Year elements. At an opening preview guests were treated to a Chinese Dragon Dance, calligraphy artists, ginseng green tea and special fortune cookies in addition to the exciting films.
“FlyOver Canada is excited to celebrate such an important holiday here in Vancouver,” said Stephen Geddes, President of Soaring Attractions LP. “We hope guests will enjoy the contrast between the two experiences and appreciate not only the different scenery found in China and Canada but also the different film-making techniques used by our team for FlyOver Canada compared to Super78’s approach with Flight of the Dragon.”
Chinese New Year at FlyOver Canada runs January 17- March 2, 2014 at the FlyOver Canada attraction at Canada Place (Entrance on upper level, North end of Canada Place) from 10am until 9pm daily.
