On my way to Squamish Valley Music Festival, I had the opportunity to drive the Sea-to-Sky in a Ford Escape Titanium. The 5 door sport utility vehicle was a great option for a road trip. The comfortable mid-sized SUV easily dealt with the hustle and bustle of heavy traffic in the city and once we got past the congestion, it picked up and grabbed the highway with excellent control and handling.
While the alerts took some getting used to at first, it was nice to have the extra level of security provided by the vehicle’s blind spot sensors, letting me know whenever a car was in close proximity. Parking assist sensors and a rear-view camera are more of the intelligent safety features in the Ford Escape Titanium. The large display provides information on everything you need to do and know about. However, since you shouldn’t read or type and drive, Ford’s signature SYNC system easily links to your bluetooth smartphone allowing for clear hands-free voice calls and the program can handle most of your desires with the touch a button on the steering wheel. Driving back from Squamish in the dark, the dashboard display’s tone was nice and comforting without being distracting.
Unlike some of the other SUVs in this class, the Ford Escape Titanium has great cargo space as well as passenger legroom and headspace. After taking a ride with me, some friends are now interested in the Escape Ti for their next car because the great space in the cargo compartment is perfect for their large dog. While not all of you will have a large dog, the back seats and compartment are enough to handle all your group, shopping, or almost anything you can throw into the vehicle.
Grab your gear, fill up the car and hit the road with a Ford Escape Titanium, it’s ready for whatever you need to do on four wheels.
