The Fray – February 26, 2012 – Orpheum Theatre
Denver based, The Fray brought their melodic, crowd pleasing piano-rock to a very pleased crowd at The Orpheum in Vancouver. The Orpheum is a perfect venue for The Fray, their music amplifies and fills the classic theatre. Lead singer Isaac Slade made everyone feel a part of the show, not just sending his great energy out into the auditorium but actually roaming out into the crowd and even up into the balcony while singing, truly interacting with audience. The 80 minute set was filled with sing-along moments as the band played their biggest hits; “You Found Me”, “Over My Head (Cable Car)” and “How To Save A Life”, including an encore cover of Yeah Yeah Yeahs “Maps”.
Supporting their third studio album “Scars & Stories”, the quartet continue touring the U.S. throughout the spring. Be sure to catch them in your town, next up Seattle before heading to the East Coast and South.
