Oktoberfest Munich starts tomorrow, September 16th bringing thousands of visitors to another edition of the world’s largest volksfest. If you can’t make it to Germany, the Vancouver Alpen Club is the place to celebrate Oktoberfest right here at home.
For over 30 years, Vancouver Alpen Club has been the city’s main Oktoberfest celebration. Starting Friday, October 6th, 2017, festivities take place every Friday and Saturday for the next three weekends. Live music from The Continentals as well as a DJ mixing tunes encourages the masses to kick up their heels.
Traditional Bavarian cuisine, like spätzle, schnitzel, and sausage fills bellies while mugs are filled with German ale. Vancouver Alpen Club Oktoberfest cooperates with the German breweries Krombacher, Erdinger, and for the first year Hofbraeuhaus Muenchen bringing centuries of brewing history to the kegs in Vancouver. Over the course of the three weekends of Oktoberfest, over 7000 litres of beer will be served to 400+ daily visitors.
Oktoberfest at Vancouver Alpen Club is giving a reader & a friend the opportunity to come out and raise a mug with us!
The prize package includes: two tickets to the cheer on the October 6th opening night of Oktoberfest at Vancouver Alpen Club including two classic Schnitzel Meals to top off the German Oktoberfest experience.
