Folk: Canadian folk singer-songwriter Basia Bulat brings her sounds to the Rio Theatre on Thursday at 8pm

Skate: Head out to the Langley Events Centre on Thursday and Friday for Holiday Festival on Ice featuring Holly Cole along with Canada’s top figure skaters; Kurt Browning, Elvis Stojko and Joannie Rochette

Pucks: Friday night the Canucks return home to Rogers Arena to host the Phoenix Coyotes at 7pm

Wrestle: The Pacific Coliseum gets a smackdown as the WWE comes to town for a night of theatrical sports entertainment on Saturday night at 7:30pm

Benefit: The Junction is filled with entertainers Saturday night as Barb Snelgrove hosts FullerStine’s 24th annual Diorama Party, benefiting Equality Jamaica, JFLAG, Friends for Life & Wings Housing.  

On Sale: Some great shows go on sale this week: RuPaul’s Drag Race: Battle Of The Seasons (Jan 10 – Commodore Ballrooms) Down With Webster (Jan 29 – Vogue Theatre), Biffy Clyro (Feb 8 – Commodore Ballroom), The Cave Singers (Feb 28 – Richshaw Theatre), ZZ Top (Mar 21 – Save-On Memorial Arena & Mar 22 – Queen Elizabeth Theatre) are all on sale Friday December 6.
