A sure sign that summer is just around the corner, Playland opens its doors will be open all May long weekend long for fun and excitement.
Over 30 rides and attractions are ready and waiting, including favourites; Hellevator, AtmosFear, DropZone, and the Wooden Roller Coaster.
Food, games, entertainment and family friendly areas like Kids Playce provide a day out the whole family can enjoy.
Gates open Saturday, Sunday and Monday, May 19-21, from 10am – 6pm. Get tickets online or from 7-11 and Safeway to save money and avoid waits at the gate. 
While you’re at it get your tickets now for SPF 2012, Playland’s 3 day Summer Music Festival, July 6-8. Tickets are limited and with the great line-up including; Joe Jonas, Dragonette, Carly Rae Jepsen, Gym Class Heroes and Marianas Trench coming, they will sell out.
And coming this Tuesday, May 22nd, is another great musical treat, Rick Hansen Celebration 25 promises to be a spectacular event celebrating the 25th Anniversary of Rick Hansen’s Man In Motion World Tour with performances by Sarah McLachlan, Jann Arden, Johnny Reid, the Canadian Tenors, Marianas Trench and David Foster.
