Celebrate Canada Day with the latest instalment of the drive-thru A Taste of the PNE – Canada Day. With other events cancelled, the PNE is offering one of the only parades around! The Canada Day ‘reverse’ parade finds you, the spectators driving through the fairground parade route.
Dress up in your red & white, and deck out your car in Canadiana then drive through the Pacific Coliseum and PNE Grounds experiencing live entertainment including a Logger Sports show and other Canadiana-themed performers.
What would a visit to the fair be without fun food? For the Canada Day A Taste of the PNE, place your order online then stop at food trucks to pick up your favourite Fair food including: corn dogs, hot dogs, poutine, cotton candy, and lemonade from Next Get Concessions, Fry Guys, and Freshly Squeezed Lemonade
The fun continues July 10th, when Playland reopens!
Returning in a limited capacity with the first phase having between 10-12 of the most popular family-friendly rides and attractions available. Playland will work with health authorities to ensure the experience is following all safety protocols and gradually increase the number and types of rides throughout the season. Playland admission, will include a fun face mask that will be required on all rides and hand sanitizing stations in place at the entrance and exit of each ride. Follow signage and staff to maintain social distancing protocols that will ensure everyone has safe, clean fun.
August begins with another Taste of the PNE drive-thru experience for the BC Day long weekend celebration, and ends with a unique PNE Fair Experience with the SuperDogs, agricultural exhibits, and a ton of family fun. Details are still to come for these events but they help to ensure that the century-old PNE tradition keeps British Columbian’s entertained for another season.
