As its third annual THE HEAT: An International Improv Comedy Showcase winds down, the flames of LOVE Month rise at The Improv Centre (TIC) on Granville Island, turning up the heat on your February date nights.
All month long, laughter set hearts aglow through a collection of fan favourite shows and interactive games from the past years aimed at making your dates, romantic or platonic, the most fun you’ll have this winter!

I Saw You | February 4, 11, 25, and March 4 at 7:30pm
The Improv Centre and The Georgia Straight present I Saw You – based on The Georgia Straight’s famed ‘I Saw You’ column – is an improv performance inspired by the audiences hopeful notes and letters of potential loves who shared lingering glances on public transit or flirtatious smiles at live concerts, as noted in the iconic missed connections column.
Single, Not Single | February 6-28 at 9:30pm (Fridays & Saturdays)
Prepare for a belly-aching, heart-breaking good time as TIC performers explore the ups and downs of relationships, whether you’re single, coupled, throupled or however you define your relationship or situationship.
Gal-entine’s Day | February 12 at 7:30pm

Grab your best gal pals for a fun-filled night of femme-tastic hysterics as TIC improvisors take an in-depth look at the delights and DRAMA of love and friendship with a cast of wickedly funny women.
My Funny Valentines Show | February 14 at 7:30pm & 9:30pm
The perfect date night, let Cupid strike love in your heart with an evening of flirtation and fun, sappy songs and smooches and, of course, love and laughter! Bring your special someone or your BFF and help inspire the cast of TIC performers with the sweet or spicy scenarios to bring glee and guffaws.
