
On June 20-21, 2025, 2 Rivers Remix Society (2RMX) in partnership with virturalfeast.ca and the Tsideldel First Nation will present a unique free 2-Day Movable Feast of contemporary Indigenous Music as part of the Indigenous Peoples Day Celebration in Tsilhqot’in Territory at the Bendziny Resort on Puntzi Lake, BC.
The weekend launches with a day of fun at Bendziny Resort on Friday, June 20. Attendees can enjoy a variety of workshops from 1 pm – 6 pm focused on music, healing and community, as well as Horseshoe and Lahal Tournaments.. Friday ends with a free community dinner and a live jam session featuring the workshop artists.
On Saturday June 21, Tsideldel Movable Feast opens at 12 pm (noon) with a Welcoming Ceremony from the Tsideldel Nation and Elders, as well as a special opening ceremony by Mexika-Tenochka artists Ana Cornejo and Leo Vara. The Festival continues with a talented line-up of diverse Indigenous artists, headlined by multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, two time 2024 JUNO Winner AYSANABEE (Oji-Cree) as well as 2025 JUNO award-winning, multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter and producer SEBASTIAN GASKIN (Tataskweyak Cree Nation). The all-Indigenous lineup also features: Resident Elder Artist and Inuvialuit folk-rock legend WILLIE THRASHER and Linda Saddleback, Secwepemc’s own Intergenerational healing roots-rhizome, hip-hop fusionists THE MELAWMEN COLLECTIVE, the deadliest Uncle band going BANNOCK DOGZ (Tsilhqot’in), MYC SHARRATT (Ts’il Kaz Koh), and LORISSA SCRIVEN (Saulteau). The roster also includes an array of BC-based hip hop artists, such as RICH & BEKA (Tsilhqot’in), SEKAWNEE (Squamish/Tla’amin, Musgamagw Dzawada’enuxw/Tlingit, Xaayda Nations), and HK AKA HIGHER KNOWLEDGE. The festival will close with Anishinaabe/Métis/North African global bass weaver, producer and DJ, HANDSOME TIGER.

2RMX’s Indigenous music festival takes place in Tsideldel territory on Indigenous Peoples Day (June 21) from 12 pm to 11:30 pm at Bendziny Lakeside Resort, 3904 Puntzi Lake Road.
