Get ready to kick up yer heals and raise yer paddles for The Cultch at The Un-Gala: A Cowboy Carnival!

Saturday, April 25 The Cultch is throwing caution to the wind, hitching up the wagon and hauling in the funds – with your help! After years of Gala Fundraisers, this year seems a perfect time for a shake up, so instead of a traditional Gala, The Cultch is trying something new, The Un-Gala!
The Un-Gala keeps the best parts of a Gala – great company, fine food & drink, live and silent auction, and the popular raise your paddle – without the dressing up for a sit-down dinner. Instead, ticketholder will get a high-energy variety show celebrating The Cultch. With tickets at just $75, (about the price of a dinner out, nowadays) you get a whole evening of entertainment and the chance to support local theatre.
The Un-Gala: A Cowboy Carnival Fundraiser hearkens back to history of community square-dances at The Cultch Heritage Stage.
The evening, hosted by Panto fan favourites, Amanda Sum and Mark Chavez, includes;
Cocktail hour: mingle with other guests over a complimentary drink from Empress Gin plus samples from Nice Life and Bomber Brewing, as well as bites from DL Chicken, Kettle Corn and other snacks.
Fundraising Carnival Showcase: with performances by Canada’s Drag Race Miss Congeniality Jaylene Tyme, magician Robert Teszka magic, Amanda Sum, and others.
Auctions: the heart of the evening is your chance to get competitive and outbid others for great Live Auction items and then how fast can you Raise Your Paddle.
Line-Dancing: Get your dancing shoes on and let loose as The Cowboy Carnival winds up with Line Dancing on the Historic Stage called by Adrienne Jenkins from the Yale Saloon. Time to let loose and put on your dancing shoes.
