Carnaval del Sol, the largest Latin American festival in the Pacific Northwest is back from July 8 to 10 at its new location of Jonathan Rogers Park.
Opening night, July 8th, starts the weekend off with the beer garden and entertainment opening Friday afternoon at 4:30pm, then the weekend fills the park with artists, music, food, exhibitors, beer garden, and family fun throughout various stages and themed plazas.
MAIN STAGE: The heartbeat of Carnaval del Sol! The Main Stage provides a multicultural experience regardless of where you are from with entertainment from various genres and styles of music from all Latin American communities!
KIDS PLAZA: Kids (and Parent’s) Plaza is a full scheduled weekend of activities where three to ten years olds can play and learn new things in their own space.
FOOD PLAZA: Taste and enjoy the vibrant flavours of dishes from different parts of Latin America from a dozen plus food trucks, vendors and merchants.
EXPERIENCE PLAZA: Come get the full experience of Latin America. Check out Delicioso, the Festival’s culinary show!
ARTS PLAZA: Latin American art in Vancouver takes its place proudly among the wide spectrum of cultural diversity our city has to offer.
BEER PLAZA: The name says it all…enjoy crisp, cold beer, music and activities.
FAMILY PLAZA: The second stage, with more artists and dancers to enjoy with your family and friends!
