Chor Leoni turns 35 with another season of the magical music moments audiences have come to expect from ‘The Lions’, this year, delivering four powerful and moving concerts from the one of the city’s most majestic venues – St. Andrew’s-Wesley United Church.
The season begins with Chor Leoni’s traditional Remembrance Day concert and closes with the return of The Big Roar in Spring 2027. Throughout the season, audiences will experience 13 stunning performances from the 65-voice volunteer choir, hundreds of voices from guest choirs and the return of The Leonids – the nine-voiced professional ensemble.

Chor Leoni will once again offer its two choral programs for young singers; MYVoice for ages 12-24 and PRÉLUDE for singers in Grade 5, 6, 7. As well, its Emerging Choral Artist Program mentors artists aged 18-30. Marie-Claire Saindon, a Franco-Ontarian choral composer, continues as Composer-in-Residence. Throughout the season, watch for Chor Leoni to share their Concert Films or pick up their other recordings online.

“For 35 years, Chor Leoni has transformed Vancouver’s most beautiful spaces, with sound, light and song. This is the season you won’t want to miss.” says Artistic Director Erick Lichte.
