When summer warms up, drinks cool down! From August 6 to 30, Vancouver Foodster Ice Summer Drink Challenge arrives to help you chill out over the peak of the season.
Throughout August participating cafes are mixing up their best iced summer drinks to complete for the title of Vancouver Foodster’s Best Summer Drink. No matter which one of the creatively crafted cool cups takes the title, everyone wins by experiencing a new tasty, iced drink.
Vancouver Foodster has challenged the competitors to use their utmost creativity to come up with their own unique iced sensation. The public are encouraged to try them all, as often as they’d like, and vote for their People’s Choice favourite on vancouverfoodster.com. Over the course of the month, a trio of judges, including myself, will also be out and about doing ‘hard labour’; tasting and evaluating these sumptuous summer sweets. The public and the judges are reminded evaluation should based on; originality, creativity, uniqueness, traditional/non-traditional, price/value and most importantly – taste.
