A mix of folk songs, popular songs, and choral masterpieces, will guide audiences on a journey from the shadows of death to the dawn of empathy, understanding, light and love during this cherished annual November 11th Concert event. Audiences will find time to contemplate and reflect, while the power of song transforms this darkness into a better vision of understanding and peace.

A unique choral take on pop music, ‘the Lions’ roaring voices bring power and harmony to some of the world’s biggest hits. C/4: Canadian Choral Composition Competition

The season closes with the annual Canadian Choral Composition Competition (C/4), an interactive and insightful gathering of composers, performers and music-lovers. Works by Dr. Roydon Tse, Tawnie Olsen and Benjamin Sigerson will be illuminated through performance and interactive conversation in the beautiful acoustics of Canadian Memorial United Church. C/4 offers audiences a unique opportunity to hear new works from three of the most exciting Canadian choral composers, read through their scores, rub elbows with these creators, and help crown the winner of this award-winning celebration of the freshest sounds of new choral music.
