Picture it! Vancouver Playhouse. November, 2024. You and your friends at Golden Girls: The Laughs Continue.
Making its debut in Canada with a brand-new stage show, even more exciting than a trip to the Rusty Anchor. This acclaimed tribute show is bringing Miami’s sassiest seniors to the Vancouver Playhouse from November 12-16.

Golden Girls: The Laughs Continue brings the beloved characters back for one more hurrah, live on stage. In this outing, we find Sophia out on bail after being busted by the DEA for running a drug ring for retirees. Meanwhile, Blanche and Rose have launched CreakN, a thriving dating app for seniors, and Dorothy is doing her best to hold everything together—with the help of a new (much) younger, love-crazed companion.
The show allows audiences to relive the acerbic but heartfelt hilarity of these iconic friends, with a nostalgic evening filled with laughter.
Written by Robert Leleux, author of The Memoirs of a Beautiful Boy and The Living End, the show features his signature wit and humour, as seen in The New York Times and The New York Times Magazine. Directed by Eric Swanson, co-founder and former Executive Director of The Detroit Actors’ Theatre Company, the production stars Ryan Bernier as Dorothy, Vince Kelley as Blanche, Adam Graber as Rose, Christopher Kamm as Sophia, and Tommy Favorite as Stanley/Burt. Produced by Murray & Peter Present, this is a professional stage experience unlike any other Golden Girls tribute you’ve seen before.
