Leeds based Kaiser Chiefs kicked off their 2015 North American tour with a pair of BC shows last week. Originally slated for September of last year, the reschedule tour started in Victoria, the tour moved to Vancouver for a gig at the Commodore Ballroom before an enthusiastic crowd of ex-pats and local fans.
Supporting their 2014 release, “Education, Education, Education & War” the setlist still included most of their fan favourite hits; Oh My God, The Angry Mob, Modern Way, Ruby and I Predict A Riot. The fans ate up the hits and rabidly cheered and sang along as lead singer Ricky Wilson’s boundless energy kept the room lively albeit complaining about a sore throat.
The Kaiser Chiefs tour continues around North America through the end of May, if you have a chance to catch them do so.
