Art: Just a few days left to view the world premiere of yellow objects, an exhibition created by Derek Chan, before it closes on Saturday, May 22, in the Firehall Arts Centre’s outdoor courtyard, limited to ten patrons per showing.
Garden: To celebrate Asian Heritage Month, Dr Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden is hosting Spells for Chinatown, a series of installations; one performance and one dance each Thursday in May. The free ticketed events are limited to 10 guests in the garden per 30 minute session
Record: This Friday, join Veda Hille and Nicholas Krgovich at noon and 6pm for a livestream performance from The Cultch, launching of his new record, This Spring: Songs by Veda Hille a reimagining of 16 of Veda’s tunes.
Art: The 6th annual ParkerArtSalon has gone Canada-wide for 2021 featuring an “Essential Travel” themed online auction and a curated month of art on display throughout May.
Masterpiece: Imagine Van Gogh: The Immersive Exhibition continues at Vancouver Convention Centre, until August 29, 2021 so you have the whole summer to see this amazing spectacle of Van Gogh’s masterpieces.
Music: Tonight, Early Music Vancouver presents, online, Ensemble Constantinople’s premiere of Metamorfosi – infusing the works of Kapsberger, Monteverdi and Rossi with the instruments and sounds of the Ottoman Empire.

Museum: Continuing at MOV’s Vanier Park and Chinatown locations, A Seat at the Table is a timely collaborative exhibition exploring historical and contemporary stories of Chinese Canadians in BC and their struggles for belonging.
