Word: Western Canada’s largest free literary festival, Word Vancouver, wraps up this Sunday September 27th.
Transformative: The 2nd Annual TRANSFORM Cabaret Festival presented by Urban Ink and The Cultch returns digitally starting tomorrow, September 24 until October 3, 2020.
Dance: The Dance Centre’s popular Discover Dance! series kicks off, digitally and with (limited) in-person performances, September 24th with the skill and precision of Highland dance in an online presentation by Shot of Scotch Vancouver.
Culture: 11th annual BC Culture Days opens September 25 with a month-long line-up of free, interactive, socially distant or virtual events around the province.
Stage: The first of The Arts Club Theatre Company’s Fall Theatre Trio of plays, No Child, takes to the stage opening tomorrow at the Newmont Stage (formerly Goldcorp Stage) at the BMO Theatre Centre, until November 8th
Films: The 39th Vancouver International Film Festival (VIFF) a line up of more than 100 feature films and events, opening this week with mostly online presentations but also a few limited in-person events, through to October 7th
