For over 50 years Place des Arts, in Coquitlam, has been serving the community as a not-for-profit arts education centre. To help it continue making art accessible for years to come, Place des Arts host its 10th Annual Online Auction fundraiser from Saturday, October 17 at 9am to Sunday, November 1 at 9pm.
This year’s goal is to raise $12,000 to reduce barriers to arts participation for the under-served children and youth in the community. The funds raised through the auction will support Place des Arts’ program subsidies and community outreach initiatives, as well as aid the purchase and replacement of vital equipment necessary for the delivery of its arts education programs.
The Auction includes more than 50 exciting auction prizes, from outdoor adventures and travel experiences to cultural activities, dining or wellness packages including the following amazing lots:
