The 2021 Holiday season is showing more signs of normality. As we learn to live and adapt to the pandemic, a few of the annual holiday craft markets and fairs are returning for in-person shopping. Explore the Christmas craft markets and support local artisans as they bring us the best of handcrafted, artisanal gifts and crafts.
Here’s a half-dozen Christmas Craft Markets, plus a first-ever Chanukah Market, that have returned to help you find that special something for stockings, under the tree or a treat for yourself. Be sure to check for Covid-19 protocols in place at the various venues; including mask and proof of vaccination.
Vancouver Christmas Market : On Now, until December 24th, 2021, 4pm to 9:30pm (until Nov 18th), 11:30am to 9:30pm (starting Nov 19th), 11:30 to 6pm (Dec 24th) – The Vancouver tradition has returned for an in-person, German-style Holiday Market with vendor huts filled with authentic German sweets, treats, local craft and trinkets and more from near or far at Jack Poole Plaza. Timed Entry Admission pre-booked tickets required.

Virtual Holiday Market November 17 – 28, 2021 online, featuring 75 makers and small shops from across Canada.
In-Person Holiday Market December 18- 19, 2021 10am – 5pm @ Croatian Cultural Centre, 3250 Commercial Drive, Vancouver featuring 80 vendors for DIYers, crafters and handmade enthusiasts to shop together in-person.
Portobello West Holiday Market : November 20 – 21, 2021 10am – 5pm @ Roundhouse Community Arts & Recreation Centre, 181 Roundhouse Mews (Yaletown), Vancouver, shop in-person at 60+ local artists, designers and makers
Crafty Affaire: November 27, 2021 10am – 5pm @ Harris Barn, 4140 Arthur Drive, South Delta, and December 4 + 5, 2021 @ Croatian Cultural Centre, 3250 Commercial Drive, Vancouver. The Holiday Markets from Craft Affaire are back for three days of markets, in two Metro Vancouver locations to share their local artisan’s wares to the communities.
West End Holiday Craft Fair: November 27, 2021 10am – 4pm @ West End Community Centre, 870 Denman Street, Vancouver, hosts 50 carefully curated artisans and vendors selling only handcrafted gifts.
Chanukah Market: November 28, 2021 11am – 5pm @ Jewish Community Centre (JCC), 950 West 41st Avenue, Vancouver. The first ever Chanukah Market takes over the JCC parking lot with heated tent hosting arts & crafts vendors, live entertainment for all-ages and lots of other family activities capped off by the lighting of the first candle on the menorah at sundown.
Toque Craft Fair: December 1 – 5, 2021 Online – The Western Front Annual Community Fundraiser and Craft Sale has moved online bringing a marketplace of curated designers and artists to your keyboard, for holiday shopping while providing support for the Western Front’s year-round arts & music programs.
First Pick Handmade Saturday, December 11 to Sunday, December 12, 11am to 6pm – Heritage Hall transforms into a 3,300-square foot pop-up handmade market with an exclusive boutique shopping experience
