This weekend, the 20th Anniversary Vancouver Chinatown Festival returns to the streets of Chinatown. Spend July 16 & 17 with your family and friends taking in the century-old neighbourhood’s history, culture, entertainment, shopping, activities and amazing food.
Columbia and Keefer Streets will be lined with dozens of food trucks bringing international flavours to the festival. Lion Dancers will bring fortune and good luck to open the festivities, as other international dance and cultural performances entertain and educate the audiences throughout the days.
Vancouver Aquarium will be on hand with live and hands-on marine display, as the Kids Zone includes face-painting, balloon art, crafts, a photo booth, and other family entertainment. Look out for giant mah jong games, market vendors, and take part in an augmented reality scavenger hunt.
Stay until dusk and enjoy an outdoor Chinatown Movie Night to cap off your day.
