Hamilton, Ontario’s Arkells kicked off their latest cross-Canada tour this weekend with sold out shows in Vancouver and Victoria. Starting off the tour at the Commodore Ballroom, the band had the audience putting the famed sprung dance floor to work bouncing to the quintets pop infused rock.
Touring in support of their 2014 release, High Noon, Max Kerman, Mike DeAngelis, Nick Dika, Tim Oxford & Anthony Carone kept the energy sky high from the first note of their set. The mostly college-age crowd had clearly been waiting for the moment to release their boundless energy. Even when not prompted by lead singer, Kerman, most of the fans were enthusiastically singing along creating an infectious atmosphere for the Canadian band.
