As we come out of seemingly a long hibernation, Music on Main is ready to help re-charge our souls with music and conversation. Music on Main’s Digital Salons, online from March 8-10, offer the chance to listen to thought-provoking music and gain deeper insight through conversations with the artists and composers.
Recorded during the 2021 Modulus Festival, Music on Main’s Digital Salons feature beautifully filmed live performances by Sapphire Haze, Mark Takeshi McGregor, and The Tempest Project. The performances are followed by insightful conversations with the artists and composers Sabrina Schroeder, Alfredo Santa Ana, and Keiko Devaux. Audiences are invited to listen in, ask questions, and learn more about music-making in these free online events, hosted by Artistic Director David Pay.
Attend one or all three of the Digital Salons live events to connect with music that engages and energizes your mind. On digital, you will be able to notice details in the performances beyond what can be witnessed at live events, and you’ll learn more about the creative process from artists. You’ll also be the first-to-know about future Music on Main projects.
The Music On Main Salons will only be available online as live events March 8-10, 2022, starting at 7:30PM (PST) each evening. For a detailed schedule, and to book access to the free events, visit musiconmain.ca.
