The 10th annual Canyon Lights switch has been switched on at Capilano Suspension Bridge Park. If you look up, down and all around you’ll be mesmerized by the thousands of lights surrounding you.
The centrepiece to Canyon Lights, the suspension bridge itself is aglow with light as visitors make the trek across the canyon. Watch for changing lights reflecting on the waters below or illuminations on the granite cliff face, both new features for 2015. Spot the illuminated Snowy Owls as you venture around Treetops Adventures, Cliff Walk and the, 153 foot high (and growing), World’s Tallest Living Christmas Tree.
Get warm in the Winter Pavilion, grab a hot chocolate, decorate a gingerbread cookie or make your own Christmas Card as you listen to the jolly holiday band. Remember to bring a camera to get a your holiday photo on the pavilion sleigh. Before leaving, visit the Holiday shop, in the original log cabin Tea Room, to find some unique Holiday gifts for everyone on your list. Wandering Canyon Lights at Capilano Suspension Bridge Park is a great way for the whole family to get in the festive spirit.
Canyon Lights run until January 3, 2016. Capilano Suspension Bridge Park is open 11am until 9pm, with Canyon Lights Holiday activities starting at 4pm.
Capilano Suspension Bridge donates partial proceeds to BC Professional Fire Fighter’s Burn Fund.
