Swedish DJ duo Rebecca and Fiona spun their way into Vancouver on Friday night at Celebrities. The dynamic duo of Rebecca Scheja and Fiona Fitzpatrick had the club’s dance floor filled and bouncing like their uptempo beats. The surprisingly varied demographic made for a fun night as they all found their way to the floor to dance or just to watch the energetic DJs throw themselves into their tunes.
During their non-stop touring the pair have found the time to record their upcoming album “Beauty Is Pain”. With the lead-off single “Candy Love”, their second album, “Beauty Is Pain” shows the growth of Rebecca & Fiona’s friendship and an evolution in their music. The pair collaborated with several other producers and co-writers during the process, including Kurt Uenala, Adrian Lux, Simon Yemane, The Loops Of Fury, Panda Da Panda, Duvchi and Cristian Dinamarca. Another Swedish producer Carli was deeply involved in the process and helped mix the final product.
Following on from their Vancouver show, Rebecca and Fiona continue on tour playing clubs and festivals across North America including high-profile dates at SXSW and Ultra Music Festivals.
