Last night, the Screen Actors Guild recognized outstanding achievement of its own members by awarding them with “The Actor”. The trophy was presented in 15 film and television categories at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. A Lifetime Achievement Award was also presented to film and television icon Dick Van Dyke.
Going into the night, Les Misérables, Lincoln and Silver Linings Playbook were all nominated for 4 awards in the Film categories and Modern Family for 4 in Television.
