Richmond’s Gateway Theatre 2025–2026 Mainstage lineup invites audiences to find themselves on a journey through bold, entertaining, and deeply human experiences: laugh at the mysteries of life with Ms. Holmes & Ms. Watson – Apt. 2B, learn from a little girl finding where she belongs with Annie, witness love across the ages in the Métis narrative Where Have All the Buffalo Gone?, and break free from the cages of patriarchy with Wildwoman.
“Our 2025–2026 season embraces storytelling that reflects the spirit and diversity of Richmond—bold, heartfelt, and full of connection,” says Barbara Tomasic, Gateway Theatre’s Executive Artistic Director. “Whether it’s the timeless joy of Annie, the sharp humour of Ms. Holmes & Ms. Watson, the powerful history shared in Where Have All the Buffalo Gone?, or the fiery Wildwoman, each production invites audiences to laugh, reflect, and come together. We’re especially excited to expand the run of our holiday musical so more families can experience the magic of live theatre and the joy of meeting Sandy, our unforgettable canine cast member!”
