Opening today, Vancouver’s unique downtown shopping and entertainment destination, Junction Public Market, returns to Granville Square – 200 Granville Street. Located between Waterfront Station and Canada Place, the second year of this shipping container marketplace, will feature rotating pop-ups, local artisans, food vendors, a licensed patio, live entertainment, and special events planned throughout the season.

The spring-summer Market runs with free entry, May 1 to September 28, 2025, Tuesday through Sunday from 10am – 7pm. Special events and entertainment to take place throughout the season and special seasonal markets (think Oktoberfest and Winter Holidays) will follow until Christmas, with dates and information on all events to be announced at junctionpublicmarket.com.
“We are excited to partner with Cadillac Fairview again, to launch Junction Public Market for a second year,” says Patrick Carnegie, a longtime public space manager and the co-founder of Junction Public Market. “Our first year saw locals, downtown commuters and tourists alike visiting to snap selfies with the iconic Vancouver sign, grab lunch at a food-truck, pick up gifts for loved ones, or enjoy after-work drinks on our licensed patio. Junction Public Market is now a Vancouver destination where people can meet, shop and unwind from the day with spectacular Vancouver harbour views.”
“We’re delighted to partner with Junction Public Market again to bring this vibrant experience to Vancouver’s financial district and waterfront community,” commented Jesse Gregson, VP, Operations, Cadillac Fairview. “Last year’s event received fantastic feedback and we’re looking forward to transforming our plaza into a lively marketplace for everyone to enjoy.”

Junction Public Market’s first event of the season offers a beautiful spot to celebrate Mother’s Day and create memorable moments together. Junction’s Mother’s Day Market event runs May 10 and May 11 from noon to 5:00 pm and features chocolate tasting, painting workshops, tarot card readings and live entertainment. Admission to the market is free with some paid activities.
In these times of focus on shopping local, this year’s Junction Public Market micro retailers include Art Spot, All the Good Things from BC, KK Jade Jewelry, OnlyViking, Standout Boutique, Bennu Leather, Cappelleria Bertacchi, Puccissime Pet Couture and many more. Food and beverage vendors include Gabronni Gelato, Cookies by John, Golden Age Meadery, The Lab, Ninja Quack Smoothie and Living Lotus Chocolate. A rotating schedule of local artisans and some of Vancouver’s best food trucks will also appear daily. The Sipping Container bar features a list of local brews, wines, and pre-mixed drinks at reasonable prices with a patio that overlooks the Vancouver waterfront and picturesque North Shore.
