Werq: The Official RuPaul’s Drag Race WERQ the World Tour is hitting the stage this weekend. Hosted by the fabulous Michelle Visage, fan favourite drag stars will be hitting Save On Foods Memorial Arena in Victoria on Friday September 2nd, and then take the Queen Elizabeth Theatre stage for two shows on September 4th.
Dance: From September 3– 25, the Vancouver International Flamenco Festival is back with another entertaining line-up of national and international flamenco artists for its 32nd edition, with ticketed and free live performances, events and classes at Norman Rothstein Theatre, Waterfront Theatre, the Picnic Pavilion at Granville Island, and Scotiabank Dance Centre.
Rock: Friday night at BC Place, prepare to rock when Motley Crue & Def Leppard: The Stadium Tour with Poison and Joan Jett & the Blackhearts attempt to blow the roof off the stadium.
Blooms: Create your own photo op before one of the most popular Lower Mainland’s summer events the Chilliwack Sunflower Festival comes to a close this Monday, September 5th.

History: The Burnaby Village Museum’s 50th Anniversary Summer Season comes to a close this weekend, wrapping up with a celebration weekend of events including Free Carousel Rides, live entertainment and exhibitions.
Party: September 2-4, Lansdowne Centre hosts the Richmond Block Party with food trucks, market vendors and a host of entertainment throughout the weekend.
Festival: Sunday September 4th, from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, the Il Centro Italian Cultural Centre hosts the Italian Summer Festival and Car Show, with an outdoor food festival, fun activities and a car show in the parking lot.
Live: The final Shipyards Live of the year wraps up the season with The Shenanigans and Lambsbreath taking the stage, as well as The Patio presented by Stanley Park Brewing, the Shipyards Marketplace and Foodtruck Lane providing plenty of fun for all.
