Pride: Vancouver Pride welcomes Canada Pride 2024 with events and activities throughout the week, on Davie Street, Granville Island, VanPride Festival and of course, the marquee Pride Parade on Sunday August 4 from Noon to 4pm
Rock: Tonight, The Australian Pink Floyd Show: The First Class Travelling Set World Tour stops at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre
Sounds: Celebrate Pride week with Vancouver Civic Theatres, inside and outside of the Queen Elizabeth Theatre, 630 Hamilton, starting Thursday, August 1, Summer Sounds open-air concert, from 4:30pm-7pm, features performances by local electronic artist Devours and indie-pop band Parlour Panther.
Art: Following the Summer Sounds concert, head inside for the Summer Art Party, August 1, 7pm-10pm, in the lobbies of the Queen Elizabeth Theatre – this event will include creation stations to nurture your inner artist, a visual art exhibition featuring the work of local artists Brandy Mars and Meesh QX, and vibey beats throughout the evening by DJ Bella Sie.
Vogue: On Friday, August 2 from 6:30pm-9:30pm learn the fundamentals of Vogueing and celebrate Ballroom culture with Van Vogue Jam at Vancouver Civic Theatre‘s free Pride Weekend Dance Dance Dance class Enjoy a beginner-friendly lesson on the art of Voguing with a Mini-Ball to follow.
Sing: The Vancouver Men’s Chorus presents The Big Gay Sing – Pride Sing-along at The Annex, The Chorus turns the microphone around for the audience to join in a Pride sing-along with lyrics on-screen to help you let your hair down and voices carry to sing along to all your camp classics.
Comedy: English comedian, presenter, actor and former semi pro footballer, John Bishop Back At It stand-up tour stops at Vogue Theatre tonight.
Patio: Vancouver biggest pop-up patio, the 1000-seat Patio at BC Place, opens Friday to Monday at 2pm at Terry Fox Plaza between Gate A & H at BC Place with food, fun and entertainment all weekend long Free for the whole family and Celebrating National Hot Dog Day with Free Hot Dogs for the first 100 guests each day
Soccer: August 3rd, Whitecaps FC host Mexican side Club Tijuana for Leagues Cup play at BC Place at 7pm
