Tenor: Metro Theatre’s 2025-2026 season brings joy and laughs with Ken Ludwig’s Lend Me a Tenor a hilarious, fast-paced farce of life, love and lies, running until October 25

Circus: The Cultch 2025/2026 season starts off with a howl, with a new show from the Australian contemporary circus company Circa, WOLF, at the York Theatre until October 18
Spooky: For over two decades, visitors have been thrilled and chilled by Western Canada’s most anticipated Halloween event Fright Nights x Fizz at Playland runs select nights until October 31. .

Improv: Until November 1st, The Improv Centre presents thrilling, edge of your seat improv with I Know What You Did Last Weekend on Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30pm
Immersive: Starting October 9th, strap in for a harrowing journey with your broom-riding tour guide “Biker Mama” and her sidekick “Tiger Moon” as HowlOver returns to Flyover for a special limited run, joining the repertoire with the all new Awaken Canada. Make your experience a bit more spirited with the seasonal “Witches Brew” lemonade and green apple mocktail at the café. And be sure to bring the whole family as kids ride free Monday to Thursday
Canyon: It’s spooky season as Canyon Frights returns to Capilano Suspension Bridge Park October 9-November 2. Find a frightful forest, where graveyards, pumpkins and glowing mycelium set the stage for a chilling adventure.

Longhouse: Richmond Art Gallery presents a new solo exhibition by Manuel Axel Strain, until November 9, celebrating the cedar longhouse as an important architectural form and philosophical framework that reflects the collectivist and relational values of their ancestors and communities.
Nuxalk: Ongoing at MOA is the world premiere of Nuxalk Strong: Dancing Down the Eyelashes of the Sun, on display until January 5, 2026.
NDN: Bill Reid Gallery of Northwest Coast Art presents the world premiere of NDN Giver, a look at consider how the act of giving is tied to identity, responsibility, resistance, and renewal, curated by the gallery’s Assistant Curator Amelia Rea in her solo curatorial debut, the exhibition runs from September 27, 2025 to January 25, 2026.
