A jewel on the North Vancouver Lonsdale Waterfront, The Polygon is open and the Gallery recently announced its summer exhibition line-up.

Kicking off the season this Friday evening by inviting the public to Magic Hour, a physically distanced community gathering taking place from 5-9pm. Cates Deck is one of North Vancouver’s newly designated outdoor drinking areas. Perfectly positioned, along the waterfront directly in front of the Gallery, Magic Hour will fill Cates Deck with the music of Niña Mendoza is a DJ based on the territories of the Skwxwú7mesh, Tsleil-Waututh, and xwm??kw?ý?m Nations. The Gallery will offer beer and wine sales along with snack options to complete your evening on the waterfront. This event is free, but the Gallery welcomes donations.
Inside The Polygon, the ground floor gallery, gift shop, and bookstore are presently open Thursday – Friday, 11:00am to 9:00pm & Saturday – Sunday, 10:00am to 5:00pm with COVID-19 restrictions and protocols in place to give visitors peace of mind for a safe and enjoyable experience.
On view right now, until August 2, 2020 – The Canucks: A Photo History of Vancouver’s Team, an exhibition of photographs looking back on the history of the Vancouver Canucks. Then on August 8, 2020 the Gallery welcomes, Chester Fields 2020: Global Warning, the theme of this year’s annual Chester Fields Teen Photography Program was Global Warning, inviting artists to visualise the forces of nature—and the forces that threaten it.
Rounding out the summer, on September 4, 2020 The Polygon’s – Third Realm will coincide with the reopening of The Polygon’s main gallery featuring photography, video, and installation by seminal figures of the Asian contemporary art scene.
The Polygon’s Kids First Saturdays programming continues online. Each week presenting a new activity that supports the well-being of kids and youth by encouraging them to connect and keep creating during challenging times. In-gallery activities will be announced further into the Gallery reopening.
