Last night the annual Much Music Video Awards were handed out in a star studded extravaganza in downtown Toronto. The bash shuts down the streets around the Much Music headquarters at Queen & John Streets as the public crowd around the stages to watch performances and awards handed out.
Performers included host PSY, Demi Lovato, Armin Van Buuren, Avril Lavigne, Down With Webster, Ed Sheeran, Marianas Trench, Phillip Phillips, Serena Ryder and Classified.
Some of the awards handed out went to;

Dance Video Of The Year – The Veldt by deadmau5 ft. Chris James
Hip Hop Video Of The Year – Started From The Bottom by Drake
Rock/Alternative Video Of The Year – Stompa by Serena Ryder
Viral Video Of The Year – Gangnam Style by PSY
Your Fave Artists (People’s Choice) – Justin Bieber for As Long As You Love Me
Your Fave Video (People’s Choice) – Stutter by Marianas Trench
