Carousel Theatre for Young People (CTYP) wrapped up its current season this weekend with its hit, The Papa Penguin Play. The company turns its attention to the recently announced 2024/2025 season, offering another extraordinary season of family-friendly productions on Granville Island.

A Kaleidoscope Theatre for Young People Production
In this inventive 45 minute production, join the Pevensie children for a magical adventure, as they take the audience on a journey into the magical land of Narnia where White Witch has trapped the land in a perpetual state of winter with no hope of Christmas.

Told over 35 minutes, with a combination of poetic text, a drum set, with two performers, Le Criard/The Screamer finds Flo Beaurivage needing to scream, to cry, to wail but where can she let loose when society says to keep quiet?

Bringing to life, E.B. White’s the little mouse with a big heart, Stuart Little, highlights Stuart’s courage and resilience in the face of a world built for humans, not a little mouse. In a mix of humor, adventure, and poignant moments, the 60 minute play promises an unforgettable theatrical experience for audiences of all ages.
In addition to the theatrical productions, CTYP also offers Club Carousel; where families can dance to music by a live in-house DJ, while getting connected to their own personal rhythm and creative movement
