The 2026 FIFA World Cup Finals are now underway. The largest tournament in history sees 48 teams playing 104 matches across 16 cities in 3 countries from today, June 11 to July 19, 2026.
Here in Vancouver, BC Place hosts seven matches over the next three weeks. If you don’t have a ticket to watch live in the stadium, there are still plenty of spots to watch and feel the World Cup fever for free.
FIFA Fan Festival is the official Vancouver fan site. Located at the hallowed PNE grounds, open June 11 to July 19, it is the hub of all things World Cup. Watch every match, catch world class live entertainment from multiple stages, food & beverage, sponsor activations and experiences all around the grounds. The newly opened Fan Festival Amphitheatre is the mainstage, screening all matches and hosting world class entertainment. Like the rest of the festival grounds, the standing room only floor viewing is free on a first-come, first-served basis. The Amphitheatre Seating and General Admission Lawn are the Festival’s only paid-ticketed viewing.
Granville Island Watch Party, open June 11 to July 19, overlapping with Vancouver International Jazz Festival and Indian Summer Festival events around the Island’s arts and culture venues. The watch party features outdoor seating for a thousand people in the centre of the island, showing matches on a 24-foot screen,aslo offering live performances, rotating local food trucks, a craft beer garden and family play zones.

Richmond Celebrates Soccer from June 12 to July 19 Soccer Community Celebrations take over every corner of the city. It gets underway tomorrow with the World Soccer Day Kick-Off Event, at Richmond Olympic Oval, a free, family-friendly celebration and watch party, kicking off a summer of soccer festivities and wrapping up with a Final event and watch party at Aberdeen Neighbourhood Park
Canada Soccer House at The Shipyards, presented by UBER Eats in partnership with Canadian Soccer Media & Entertainment and North Vancouver from June 11 to July 19. A six week watch party, street festival, soccer fest, and national celebration, all rolled into one! Watch live match broadcasts on a giant screen in the Shipyard Commons, along with multiple other screens throughout the area. Different activities are programmed each day, from a variety of entertainment, food and beverage, games and prizes, and other surprises.
Soccer in the Square 2026 Watch Party at UBC, transforms Norman Mackenzie Square from June 11 to July 19 into a family party-zone with free live match, entertainment and family movies fit in between. Grad a bite from one of the many neighbouring cafes, restaurants and bakeries, pull out your picnic blanket or camp chair and enjoy the atmosphere.
Surrey Soccer Fan Zones at Surrey Civic Plaza, Cloverdale Agriplex, and South Surrey Athletic Park offer 100+ match broadcasts between June 11 and July 19 along with family entertainment, kid-friendly activities, food and drink and a host of live performers. All starting with the Opening Kick Off June 12 to watch Canada’s first match live on the big screen and a special appearance by Surrey?born Whitecaps FC midfielder Jeevan Badwal.
Granville Street Pedestrian Zone, from June 11 to July 19, Granville Street (between Davie and West Georgia St) will transform into a vibrant, temporary people-first public space inviting visitors and locals to stroll, gather, dine, and explore the 28 expanded patios for dining and gathering, additional public seating, market vendors, and local food and beverage offerings. Granville businesses will also host activations, watch parties, and special events throughout the tournament, creating a vibrant atmosphere from day to night.

Yaletown Kicks Off: Where the World Comes to Play from June 11 to July 19 Yaletown celebrates soccer. From elevated patios to playful street installations, soccer fills every corner of the neighbourhood; FIFA Spectacular at Bill Curtis Square is an immersive, interactive installation designed to surprise and delight fans. Game On, Yaletown! is a mini-pitch series inviting the community to step off the sidelines and onto the pitch. Hamilton Plaza transforms into Pitchside Patio at Earls and Backyard FC at Yaletown Brewing. Look around the neighbourhood for more activations and grab your best selfie at the Giant Soccer Net or Giant Soccer Cleats. Oh yeah, there’s also matches to watch at your favourite establishments.
Game Days at South Flats, 1155 East 6th Avenue, is a free outdoor watch party open June 11-13 and June 18-21. Capacity is limited, reservations are required for specific matches (note: tickets do not reserve a seat, seating is first-come, first-served). The tented site opens 1 hour prior to match time with a family-friendly Kids Zone, local food trucks, coffee by Kafka’s and a fully licensed beer garden plus live music and DJ sets. Patrons are welcome to bring their own food but no outside alcohol is allowed on site.
Gastown United, until July 5 Gastown is alive with the spirit of soccer. Neighbourhood pubs and restaurants open their doors as country watch-houses, look for an official Gastown United Lager, find official Gastown United merch and on July 3rd in Carrall St Alley (between Monarca and Guilt & Co.) for a street-side viewing party
