Joy is an act of resistance, and every artist is a warrior when taking part in the Warrior Festival at The Cultch.
Until May 11, the Cultch welcomes five fierce and funny shows to the York Theatre, Historic Theatre, and Vancity Culture Lab stages. Featuring razor-sharp comedy, captivating circus and bold and expansive theatre, the Warrior Festival invites you to be part of something bigger than entertainment.
With works that strengthen acts of defiance with scenes of radical joy the Warrior Festival celebrates the strength of women and gender-expansive artists who are reclaiming space, rewriting narratives, and advocating for justice from the stage to the street.
