Mitch and Murray Productions is presenting the North American premiere of Harm, by acclaimed British playwright Phoebe Eclair-Powell. On stage at Studio 16 from Friday, March 20 to Sunday, March 29, Harm is a gripping one-woman play that blends razor-sharp comedy with psychological tension.

Directed by Jennifer Copping, this bold production, staring Kelli Ogmundson, invites audiences into a compelling world where humor, suspense, and modern anxieties collide.
The story centers on a deeply unhappy estate agent whose life takes an unexpected turn when she sells a house to Alice, a charismatic social media influencer. What begins as an unlikely friendship soon evolves into something far more troubling.

As her fascination with Alice’s seemingly perfect online life intensifies, the boundaries between curated digital fantasy and reality begin to blur with dangerous consequences. Harm explores obsession, isolation, and the powerful influence of social media in a world increasingly shaped by screens.
“Our company’s mandate is to always speak to the current moment,” says Mitch and Murray Productions’ Artistic Director, Aaron Craven. “For years now, I’ve been looking for a play about social media and the loneliness epidemic. Digital addiction is everywhere – we know the smartphones are fueling unhealthy habits, but like smoking in the twentieth century, the allure and the corporate sales tactics keep us itchy for that next dopamine hit. Harm is a beautifully intimate, often funny, and ultimately disturbing look at one lonely woman’s descent into obsession – one hashtag at a time.”
Continuing Mitch and Murray Productions’ mission to bring critically acclaimed, timely productions, Harm runs March 20 to March 29, 2026 at Studio 16, 1555 W. 7th Avenue. Visit mitchandmurrayproductions.com for details and tickets.
