For a third year, Music on Main will fill your summer nights with the joy of live music…outdoors!
From August 14-16 & 21-23, 2023, Music on Main returns to Vancouver’s Mount Pleasant Park for six summer evenings of music in the park. What started as a way to share free live music safely outdoors during the pandemic has turned into a beloved annual event, continuing to bring the neighbourhood park the sounds of instruments like the flute, harp, cello, and the voices of Vancouver.
These pop-up musical events return for the peak of summer to allow audiences a chance to relax outside while enjoying the evening’s music that reflects the sounds of Vancouver back to audience members. Become immersed in the gorgeous sounds of a string quartet, original Persian compositions, classical arrangements, and more!
Bring a picnic or pick up something from a local food truck* and spread out a blanket for the evening with your friends, family, while a variety of top-flight musicians and soul-stirring repertoire invite you to take a breath and simply, listen.
