Blooms: One of the most popular Lower Mainland’s summer events returns today! The Chilliwack Sunflower Festival comes back for its fifth awe-inspiring year, running until September 5th.
Films: Opening tomorrow August 11, running until August 21, Out On Screen brings back the 34th Vancouver Queer Film Festival themed “Make It Yours” inviting audiences to return online or in-person for 97 films plus workshops, parties and events.
Arts: Act quickly to catch some of talented line-up for the seventh annual Monsoon Festival of the Performing Arts, curated by the South Asian Arts Society, until August 31.
Sedna: Friday August 12th at the York Theatre, Urban Ink presents Guide My Way: A Celebration of the Music from Sedna, shining a spotlight on Vancouver musical performers; Corey Payette, Chelsea Rose, Merewyn Comeau, with a feature performance by the JUNO nominated singer-songwriter Desirée Dawson.
Docs: DOXA Documentary Film Festival’s Outdoor Summer Screenings are back, this Friday August 12th screen a collection of DOXA 2022 shorts by local filmmakers, at Library Square on Robson Street
