Hitting the middle of June, this week more activities and events showing signs that summer is just around the corner.
Gangsters: With an all-star cast of Vancouver Theatre, you can’t miss out on seeing the spectacular “Musical Fable of Broadway” Guys and Dolls running until June 30th, at The Arts Club Theatre Company Stanley Industrial Alliance Stage.

Seniors: Until June 23rd at PAL Studio Theatre, Western Gold Theatre presents the world premiere of Super Seniors, a new comedy by Kathryn Shaw, takes you to the Fairfield Residence to meet three women over the age of 105 who have differing responses to their extraordinarily long lives.
Artist: Making her Vancouver debut, South Korean artist-designer Jennifer JiYeon presents Return to Reality at Yaletown’s Mandala Studio & Creative Space, June 14-16 from 6pm.
Play: A true sign of the pending Summer season, Playland opens this weekend and select days in May and June to join in the thrills and excitement
Improv: Until July 13th The Improv Centre on Granville Island takes audiences to Camp What’s-It-Called for its feature summer show on Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30pm
Fish: The Motion & Music Youth Production Program invites audiences, young and old, to the ocean’s coral reef for a bubbly, energetic stage adaptation of the award-winning book The Rainbow Fish Musical June 13 at 5 and 7pm at Anvil Theatre

Concert: Thursday afternoon, the VSO presents a free concert, The Path Forward, curated by the VSO Indigenous Council with performances by the VSO in collaboration with Indigenous artists and musicians from the Coast Salish Territory of the Musqueam; Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh First Nations. The special concert celebration honouring National Indigenous Peoples Day is a free community event with no ticket is required – first come first seated so arrive early to enjoy the family zone and a selection of Indigenous food.
